Our New Baby Boy - Malachi!
Bridget and I had our first baby Friday the 9th of March at 1:09pm. He weighed in at 6 pounds 13 ounces and was 20 1/4" long. Bridget's water broke at 6:00am and was dilated to 1cm when we got to the hospital. Two hours and forty five minutes later she was dilated to a 7! We started pushing about an hour later and out popped our boy!

We are so incredibly excited for you guys!!! What a blessing it is to have children! I am so glad the labor and delivery went so well! Can you believe he's yours? Isn't it so amazing?!!! I can't wait to talk to you, B. I am sure you are having a billion visitors and I'll be patient...but call me sometime! We are praying for you and hope you enjoy that teeny little guy so much. They grow so fast! (okay I better stop because I'm so happy that I can't stop using exclamation points!!!!) YEAH! We love you guys!

I love the name Malachi and would like it to be his name. What motivated you to choose this name for your little one? Do you use any nicknames?
